Meet Aaron Reitz
“I fought for freedom overseas. Now I’m ready to fight for it at home—by standing up for Texas in court.”
Aaron Reitz has spent his life on the frontlines of our state’s and nation’s most important battles. A graduate of Texas A&M and the University of Texas School of Law, Aaron Reitz served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps, deploying to Afghanistan to defend our freedom and way of life.
After law school—where he led nationally recognized conservative legal groups—Aaron practiced law in Houston, clerked for Texas Supreme Court Justice Jimmy Blacklock, and served as Deputy Attorney General for Legal Strategy under Ken Paxton. In that role, he led Texas’s legal pushback against Biden’s abuses of power, helping sue the administration 46 times.
Aaron went on to serve as Chief of Staff to Senator Ted Cruz, managing major policy efforts on border security, online child protection, and job creation. After President Trump’s 2024 re-election, he appointed Aaron to lead the DOJ’s Office of Legal Policy under Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Aaron is a husband, father of four, churchgoer, and Marine Corps Reserve Major. He embodies the Texas values of courage, perseverance, and a refusal to bend the knee. Texas is the last stand, and Aaron Reitz is the Marine who will remind the radical left: you don’t mess with Texas. Semper Fi!
